Juniper Consultants LLC ("Juniper," "we," "us," or "our") operates GageLog. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, username, and email address when you register.
- Payment information: billing details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Usage data: the gauge sources you subscribe to, report generation activity, and API request logs (for security and debugging). Logs are retained for 90 days.
- Consent records: the date and time you agreed to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and subscription.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the GageLog service.
- To process payments through Stripe.
- To send transactional communications (account confirmations, billing receipts, service alerts). We do not send marketing email without your explicit opt-in.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Stripe, Inc. — to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting and database services used to operate GageLog, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement — when required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights or safety of Juniper or others.
4. Third-Party Tracking
GageLog does not use third-party advertising networks, social media trackers, or behavioral analytics services. We do not place third-party cookies on your browser.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for the duration of your subscription and for up to 3 years afterward for compliance and audit purposes. You may request earlier deletion (see Section 7). Payment records may be retained longer as required by tax law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR and the Washington Privacy Act) to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy
GageLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the service. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
